WestTest Wackiness

Students were excited and inspired to
do well and "Beat the WestTest!"

Whew... Now that the 2012 WestTest is behind us, we can all breathe a little easier.  The students and staff kicked off the week with a celebration that continued from the Luau Book Fair.  Students' names who purchased books during the week of the book fair, were called out to claim prizes. Lindsey Prichard, Student Council President, spoke of her goals and that she personally wanted to raise her score 15 points.  Students then came forward and shared their individual goals for the WestTest.  Mr. Adkins and Mr. Roy entertained us with their dance moves as they hulad to Hawaiian beach music. Everyone was able to release a lot of pre-test jitters and stress as the kick off ended with a Conga line led by Mr. Altizer.

"15 For Our Team" was the
slogan for the week

When testing began the nexy day, every student, teacher, and staff adorned the school with gold and blue shirts that said "15 for our team."  The slogan was inpired by a 7th grader and became our motto for the week.  Teachers reported that students took their time and seemed genuinely concerned about their test results.

           GREAT JOB WILDCATS!!
